Today!!

WOW! What a day!! It was really great to see so many of you at school day - we have all really enjoyed it and I know the children have loved having you there to play. We hope you enjoyed it too and got the chance to look at your child's profile. If you weren't able to join us today then you can pop in anytime for a quick chat and look at their folders whenever is convenient for you.

We would love your comments and feedback on today...what you enjoyed the most? Is there anything that you would like us to consider for next time? (Refreshments maybe - my mouth was a bit dry by the end of the day!!) Any comments at all would be appreciated!!

Anyway we hope you have a fab weekend and we will see you all on Monday for another action packed week!!! :0)

Really enjoyed coming to the open day today it is so nice to see how Tilly spends her day learning at school and especially enjoyed reading her profile.

Thank you so much for inviting me into the class room today to share Tilly's school experience.

Great Open Day, both myself and Molly enjoyed the experience. I think Molly loved showing me everything and telling me what to do, rather than it always being the other way....

Real enjoyed the open day, thanks. It gave a great overview of the facilities and was a good opportunity to discuss progress and put names to faces. Might be nice to see a phonics or numeracy lesson in progress next time, if it's possible. And, yes, a cuppa would be nice.

Is Mrs Foster naming the lessons by the way? How many Take That songs are scheduled? Let It Shine!

I'll do my best with the take that links - lol!! Open Days are new to reception this year - so was all a bit trail and error. I agree it would be good for you to see phonics and numeracy in action and this is definitely something for next time - a cuppa would be good - we'll have to get our thinking caps on as to how we can provide that.....glad you enjoyed the day!

It was an enjoyable afternoon- until Joe decided to go outside for ages, and it was freezing!! He always enjoyed the 'making food' tables at the nursery stay and play days- fruit skewers, chocolate apples, decorated biscuits etc.

I know it was cold - but we can't help the weather - hopefully March should be warmer and July definitely will be!!!! We did think about doing some food tech to be honest - but as this was our first open day - I suppose we played it safe....we also don't have as much room as nursery - but shall definitely have a think for next time - thank you for your comment!
